“Portugal em Prática”: a powerful start that leaves students wanting more
The “Portugal em Prática” programme, promoted by Instituto Superior Técnico in partnership with the António Pargana Foundation, launched with contagious energy and a clear impact on students.
From the very beginning, participation exceeded expectations, quickly turning into an experience marked by enthusiasm, curiosity, and active engagement. Throughout the programme, students not only explored new areas of knowledge but also built meaningful connections with peers from different backgrounds, in an environment shaped by cultural diversity and shared experiences.
Through visits to leading research laboratories, exposure to pioneering projects developed in Portugal, and immersive moments in museums and cultural spaces, the programme offered an experience that goes far beyond traditional learning. Rather than simply observing, participants engaged, questioned, and co-created knowledge.
The outcome was clear: motivated and inspired students, already looking forward to the next stage, which will take place in Cascais on July 8.
This is just the beginning. The programme will continue to grow in the next academic year, with new activities across different regions of the country — Porto, Belém, Évora, and Alcochete — introducing new formats, themes, and dynamics that promise to surprise.
The next application phase will open at the end of September. Until then, the message is simple: stay tuned and get ready for what’s coming next.
