Programme Description and Aims
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) continues the formally known “Erasmus Mundus” programmes (2009-2013).
An Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree is a study programme of 60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits, delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions and and, where relevant, other educational and/or non-educational partners.
The conclusion of the programme will lead to the award of:
- a joint degree (one single diploma issued by at least two higher education institutions)
- or multiple degrees (at least two diplomas issued by two higher education institutions)
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree is a high-level programme, due to its distinctive academic content, the methodology it offers and its high integration/jointness (academic curriculum, implementation procedures, selection and admission criteria, quality assurance mechanisms).
