The International Admissions Office is responsible for attracting, supporting, and managing international applicants who wish to apply to a degree program at Técnico Lisboa (Bachelor and Master Degree), as well as international researchers who will conduct their scientific activities at Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, it promotes the integration of international students and faculty into the university environment.

The International Admissions Office is responsible for:

• Promoting Técnico Lisboa’s academic programs internationally;
• Managing the application process for international students;
• Providing support with visa applications, residence permits, NIF (Tax Identification Number), and NISS (Social Security Identification Number) for international students and researchers;
• Assisting with the reception and welcoming of all international students and researchers;
• Managing the support structures for the academic experience of international students and researchers;
• Providing information about accommodation for international students and researchers, including managing partnerships with service providers.
