One of Técnico Lisboa’s strategies is to establish agreements with foreign higher education institutions for the award of Double Degrees. These programmes allow students to obtain two diplomas: one from Técnico and one from the partner institution, where part of the studies is completed.
Graduates receive a degree from each institution, enabling them to pursue professional practice in the countries where the diplomas are recognised, provided they meet the legal and professional requirements of the respective countries

Deadlines |
To carry out the double degree programme for the academic year 2026/2027, there will be two phases. In the 2nd phase, only the remaining spots from the 1st phase will be available.
- 09 to 16 December, 2025
- 26 to 30 January (4 pm), 2026

Eligible Students |
- Students enrolled in the 2nd cycle of studies
- Minimum application average 12.50 values
- The 1st year of the master’s degree must be completed entirely at IST, with approval of 60 ECTS. Students cannot have completed any mobility program during their master’s degree with equivalent grades from another university

- Payment is due to IST during the full duration of the program, through the fénix system. If tuition fees are to be paid at the host university, this does not exempt the payment of tuition fees at Técnico
