One of the strategies of the Técnico Lisboa is making agreements with foreign Higher Education institutions for the award of Double Degrees, where students benefit from the possibility of obtaining two diplomas, one from Técnico, and the other from the foreign institution where you will carry out part of your studies to complete the degree. In the end, you will have two diplomas from both institutions, being able to carry out professional activity in the countries where this diploma is recognized, and following the procedures of the respective associations that regulate the exercise of professional activity in these countries.

Deadlines |
To carry out the double degree programme for academic year 2025/2026, there will be 2 distinct application periods:
- 09 to 16 December, 2024
- 13 to 17 January, 2025
|

Eligible Students |
- Students enrolled in the 2nd cycle of studies
- Students enrolled in the 1st cycle of studies, but in a transitional situation (continuity regime), will be considered if they have at least 30 ECTS enrollments in 2nd Cycle.
- Minimum application average 12.50 values
- The 1st year of the master’s degree must be completed entirely at IST, with approval of 60 ECTS. Students cannot have completed any mobility program during their master’s degree with equivalences grades from another university

- Payment is due to IST during the full duration of the program, through the fénix system. If tuition fees are to be paid at the host university, this does not exempt the payment of tuition fees at Técnico
