From Waste to Art: IST & the InclusiveFuture Project

Instituto Superior Técnico is a partner in the European project Inclusive Future, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Through the GreenComp framework, we are empowering the community to integrate sustainability competences into education.

Participants will build their own “Eco-Robot Painters“—robots that create art using recycled materials and move via the vibration of a small motor. This hands-on activity allows for the exploration of circularity, reuse, and sustainable design concepts.

We are currently collecting plastic bottles, cardboard tubes, caps, corks, and sponge pieces:

  • March 18 to April 1: Civil Engineering Building, Alameda Campus.

  • March 23 to April 1: Taguspark Campus (Oeiras).
