Erasmus+ Internships (Traineeships/Placements)

The International Mobility and Partnerships Office supports internship mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+ Traineeships Programme.

If you are interested in undertaking an Erasmus+ traineeship at Técnico, you should first contact your Home Institution to verify your eligibility and the procedures you need to follow.

Afterwards, you should contact a department, laboratory, or research centre at Técnico that aligns with your area of expertise and interests.

Once you have been accepted, one of the documents used within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme is the Learning Agreement for Traineeships. This document is signed by the academic staff member responsible for hosting the student at Técnico, who acts as the supervisor at the Host Institution. The Learning Agreement is usually provided either by the student or by their Home Institution. Once it has been signed by all parties involved, the final version should be sent by email to internships@tecnico.ulisboa.pt.

During the traineeship period, should any document require the signature of the International Mobility and Partnerships Office (NMPI) (for example, an Arrival Certificate or a Certificate of Stay), the request must be submitted by email to internships@tecnico.ulisboa.pt, with both the supervising professor at Técnico Lisboa and the student copied on the message. Furthermore, all communications between the trainee and the NMPI must include the respective supervisor in copy (CC).
