The International Staff Week (ISW) is an annual event that aims to promote international cooperation and exchange of best practices between Técnico Lisboa and partner universities. It is aimed at members of higher education institutions, such as international relations officers, student affairs professionals, researchers, and administrative staff.

The main objective is to promote internationalisation and professional development by providing a platform for sharing good practices, networking and learning about innovative strategies in the context of higher education. The programme includes workshops and working groups to debate current challenges in the process of internationalising higher education, cultural activities and networking opportunities to strengthen international cooperation and broaden participants’ skills.

One of the activities highlighted is the International Day (IDay), which gives participants the opportunity to present their institutions and programmes to a diverse community of students, researchers, teaching staff and technical administrative staff, increasing visibility and creating new connections in Técnico Lisboa and beyond.

From 26 to 30 May, another edition of International Staff Week 2025 (ISW2025) will take place. More than an event: an investment in your future!
