Quinta do Marquês Secondary School Successfully Hosts InclusiveFuture Local Training and School Workshop
On 8 July 2026, Quinta do Marquês Secondary School, in Oeiras, successfully hosted two key capacity-building activities within the InclusiveFuture – Fostering Inclusion through Sustainable Education Erasmus+ project, bringing together 28 teachers, including representatives from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST),Prof.ª Ana Moura Santos coordinator of the project in Portugal and two members of the International Fundraising Office – International Office.
The event combined two complementary Work Package 3 activities, following the project’s Cascade Training Model.
The first session consisted of the InclusiveFuture Local Training, delivered by Prof. Susana Assunção, who participated in the international mobility in Reus, Spain, as one of the project’s Change Agents. The training replicated the knowledge and practical tools acquired during the international mobility, introducing participants to the GreenComp Framework, the InclusiveFuture Pedagogical Model, the project’s MOOC, and European good practices for integrating sustainability and inclusion into everyday teaching. This replication activity plays a key role in transferring knowledge from the international level to schools, ensuring the long-term impact of the project.
The second session was the InclusiveFuture School Workshop (T3.4), facilitated by Prof. Ana Moura Santos, focusing on the practical implementation of the InclusiveFuture methodology in schools. Participants explored the project’s educational resources, and prepared future sustainability laboratories with students as part of Task T3.5, that will be manage by our National Parter Nuclio.
The event was marked by a high level of engagement, excellent collaboration and inspiring discussions among participants. Teachers demonstrated a strong commitment to adopting innovative, inclusive and sustainable educational practices, highlighting the importance of continuous professional development and international cooperation in education.
The successful completion of both activities represents another important milestone in the Portuguese implementation of the InclusiveFuture project and further strengthens the role of Instituto Superior Técnico – Universidade de Lisboa in supporting schools to build greener, more inclusive and future-oriented learning environments.
