The concept of “Travel” includes all necessary journeys between ULisboa and the host institution.
Under the Erasmus+ Program, travel cost support is based on the distance in kilometres between ULisboa and the host institution’s location.
For this purpose, the distance is calculated using the European Commission’s online tool:
The distance in kilometres is then matched to the corresponding range on the Erasmus grant table to determine the applicable travel band amount.
Individual Support:
Individual support is based on a “per diem” value defined for country groups, considering the mobility duration.
The amounts may correspond to up to 100% of the grant for the first 14 days of mobility. From the 15th day onwards, grant amounts will be allocated at up to 70% of the table’s value.
When allocating individual support, it is possible to combine days with and without a grant.
Erasmus+ Grant support payment:
- The payment of the grants is after the signature of the Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Contract;
- Changes to the mobility period may imply adjustments in the grant amount and an addendum to the Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Contract;
