MIRAI – An opportunity to get to know Japan

The call for applications for participating in the MIRAI project are now open. “MIRAI”, the expression that means “Future” in Japanese is the name of this programme which aims to make Japanese science, technology and culture known.

Experiencing the latest technology from Japan, visiting technology companies, research centers, a Japanese university and having contact with some of the cultural traditions of the Japanese people are some of the activities that make up the intense agenda of this programme

This programme includes a two day Online Pre-exchange program that precedes the trip to Japan (6 days). You can find the Agenda Agenda

The Government of Japan finances the following expenses: international travel, travel within Japan, food and accommodation.

If you have 20 years or older and you on your last year of your undergraduate degree or on your master degree, check if you meet the Guidelines and apply to this opportunity to get to know Japan!

The process will have two evaluation phases: Técnico will select 2 applications that will be communicated to the Japanese Embassy in Portugal, which will then make the final evaluation after the students proposed by Técnico fill out the application form for the MIRAI program.

The evaluation at Técnico will have in consideration the avarage grade, year of studies completed and motivation.

If you meet the above requisits and want to apply, send the transcript of academic record and a motivation letter to the email projects.nri@tecnico.ulisboa.pt until October 31st 2021.

 

Briefing Session – Fullbright Grants

EXPERTS Workshop– Bogor, Indonésia

Last March, Técnico Lisboa participated in the EXPERTS Regional Workshop, organized by Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and Bogor Agricultural University, in Bogor, Indonesia.
More than 35 representatives attended the workshop from various institutions in South and South-East Asia and Europe, from 18 different nationalities, with whom Técnico Lisboa has the privilege to cooperate.

Committee- Salahaddin University (Iraq)

A Cooperation Agreement between Técnico Lisboa and Salahaddin University (Iraq) was established today at Técnico Lisboa.
This Agreement was signed by Professor Arlindo Oliveira, President of Técnico Lisboa, and Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dezaye, President of Salahaddin University.
