Outgoing Mobility Applications

Mobility (for Studies) applications for the second semester of 2021/2022 will be happening from September 23rd to September 30th and will be by filling out a form created by the NMCI. Only master students can apply, 2nd cycle students.

UNITE Virtual Credit Mobility

The Mobility and International Cooperation Office (NMCI) informs that applications for the UNITE Virtual Credit Mobility initiative are open between 13.05.2021 and 20.05.2021.

Instituto Superior Técnico is a partner in the pilot initiative UNITE Virtual Credit Mobility, developed in partnership with other European universities: Aalto University (Aalto), Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo), Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) , Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Technical University of Darmstadt (TUD). The objective of this initiative is to make available a set of curricular units, in the area of ​​engineering and energy management, offered in English in a totally virtual model. It is intended to provide our students with an experience similar to mobility / exchange, but totally virtual and costs free.

If successfully completed and approved by the respective mobility coordinator, these curricular units can be recognized and the ECTS counted in the study plans.

We invite all interested students to apply through the following google form.

Considering that it is a pilot project, the selection criteria will be defined according to the applications received and the vacancies available in each partner institution.

4T.I.M.E.TECH International Summer School

Recruitment to the 4T.I.M.E.TECH International Summer School has just started!

From 3rd to 16th July you can participate in on-line courses in the field of mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, production management, modern telecommunications and production automation as well as intercultural communication conducted by professors from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, RWTH Aachen and Ecole Centrale Marseille.

Additionally, you will improve your presentation and communication skills in English. Completion of a summer school allows you to receive a certificate and 3 ECTS points.

Applications for Erasmus+ Internships (Traineeships/Placements)

NMCI has opened applications for Erasmus+ Internships (Traineeships/Placements) for the academic year 2021/2022, 1st and 2nd semester, will be open from April 19 to June 18, 2021.
Students enrolled in 1st Cycle (3rd year) courses and students enrolled in 2nd and 3rd Cycle courses may apply to carry out a curricular or extracurricular internship, from 2 to 12 months, in a work context.
Students are responsible for finding a company/institution to carry out their placement and to initiate the first contacts with the person responsible at the Host Institution.

Eligible applicants are: Students enrolled in a doctoral program of a university and postdoctoral and junior scientists from academic or industrial laboratories.
The application campaign is OPEN, until May, 2021.

The results of the Mobility Programs

Some of the results of the mobility programs have already come out and were sent by email through the fenix system.

For this students, they will have to answer in the fenix system until the 15/03/2021 which semester they intend to do the mobility (except Legi / MEGI).

Any questions you have regarding your placement should contact your mobility coordinator or:

NMCI will send emails to students in a phased manner, according to the deadlines of the schools where they were placed. This means that there are students who will receive mail in March and others only in April, May or June.
