January Applications Period | Outgoing Mobility

The January 2024 international mobility application period is officially open! Eligible students will be able to choose up to ten options in order of preference from the various options that are available. For more information about the application process, we advise you to read the information available in NMCI’s website and in the International Mobility Application Guide you can find there. Applications – Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility (STT)

NMCI informs that a period of applications for Staff Training (STT) Mobility grants under the Erasmus+ program is open from 16th October to 24th November 2023.

These mobilities must be carried out between 8th January 2024 to 31st July 2024.

The Erasmus+ Program has an action to finance mobility missions for the administrative staff training in other Higher Education Institutions covered by the program.

These missions, with a minimum duration of 2 days (excluding travel days), aim the administrative staff training and exchange of experiences within the scope of Higher Education.

These mobilities must be carried out between 5th June to 31st October 2023.

The Erasmus+ Program has an action to finance mobility missions for the administrative staff training in other Higher Education Institutions covered by the program.

These missions, with a minimum duration of 2 days (excluding travel days), aim the administrative staff training and exchange of experiences within the scope of Higher Education.

NMCI informs that an additional period of applications for Staff Teaching mission (STA) Mobility grants under the Erasmus+ program will be from 10th April to 28th April 2023..

These mobilities must be carried out between 19th June to 31st October 2023.

The Erasmus+ Program has an action to fund teaching mobility assignments to other Higher Education Institutions covered by the program.

These missions have an average duration of 5 days, a minimum of 2 days (excluding travel days), and a maximum of 2 months. The Erasmus+ program requires a minimum of 8 hours per week (5 days) at the host institution.

Mobility and International Cooperation Office inform that the application call for Staff Training mobility within the Erasmus+ program is now open.

The application is open until 06th February 2023.

The mobility must be carried out between 27th February to 31st May 2023.

The Erasmus+ program has a Key Action to support the staff training mobility to the other Higher Educational partner institutions.

Staff Training mobility has an average duration of 5 days, a minimum of 2 days (excluding travel days), and a maximum of 2 months.

Mobility and International Cooperation Office inform that the application call for Staff Teaching mobility within the Erasmus+ program is now open.

The application is open until 13th February 2023. The mobility must be carried out between the 10th of April to the 31st of October 2023.

The Erasmus+ program has a Key Action to support the teaching mobility assignments to the other Higher Educational partner institutions.

Staff Teaching Assignments have an average duration of 5 days, a minimum of 2 days (excluding travel days), and a maximum of 2 months. The Erasmus+ program requires a minimum of 8 hours per week (5 days) of teaching at the host institution.

Candidaturas – Erasmus+ Pessoal Técnico e Administrativo (STT)

O NMCI informa que se encontra aberto um período adicional e excecional de candidaturas a Bolsas destinadas à Mobilidade de Pessoal Técnico e Administrativo (STT) no âmbito do programa Erasmus+.
Estas candidaturas decorrerão até dia 08 de novembro de 2022. As mobilidades deverão ser executadas até 31 de dezembro 2022.

O Programa Erasmus+ dispõe de uma ação destinada a financiar missões de mobilidade para formação de pessoal técnico e administrativo a outras Instituições de Ensino Superior abrangidas pelo programa.

Estas deslocações, com duração mínima de 2 dias (excluindo os dias de viajem), visam a formação dos técnicos e administrativos e a troca de experiências no âmbito do Ensino Superior.

Applications for “Vulcanus in Japan” Training Programme

The Mobility and International Cooperation Office informs that the Applications for the Vulcanus Programme – Training Programme in Japan, is open until 20th January 2022.

Are you a 2nd cycle student or are you in the penultimate year of PhD? Are you an Engineering or Science student? Are you an EU/COSME national? Are you looking for an international internship experience? Apply to the VULCANUS Programme!

This programme starts in September 2022 and ends in August 2023 offers a seminar on Japan, an intensive Japanese language course (4 months), and an internship in a Japanese company.

For non-EU applicants: check if your country belongs to the COSME Program and if the agreement is valid.

UNITE Virtual Credit Mobility

The Mobility and International Cooperation Office NMCI) informs that applications  for the UNITE Virtual Credit Mobility initiative are  open between 03.11.2021 and 10.11.2021

Instituto Superior Técnico is a partner in the initiative UNITE Virtual Credit Mobility, developed in partnership with other European universities: Aalto University (Aalto), Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo), Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), and Technical University of Darmstadt (TUD). The objective of this initiative is to make available between them a set of curricular units, in the area of ​​engineering and energy management, offered in English in a totally virtual model. It is intended to provide our students with an experience similar to mobility/exchange, but totally virtual and free.

If successfully completed and approved by the respective mobility coordinator, these subjects can be recognized and the ECTS counted in the study plans.

We invite all interested students to apply through the following google form.

The selection criteria will be according to the applications received and the vacancies available in each partner institution.

Applications for Erasmus+ Internships (Traineeships/Placements)

Applications for Erasmus+ Internships (Traineeships/Placements) for the year 2021/2022 (2nd semester/summer internships) are open from 01 to 31 October, 2021.
Students are responsible for finding a company/institution to carry out their placement and to initiate the first contacts with the person responsible at the Host Institution.
Students enrolled in 1st Cycle (3rd year) courses and students enrolled in 2nd and 3rd Cycle courses may apply to carry out a curricular or extracurricular internship, from 2 to 12 months, in a work context.
